The aftermath of Siege is a bold new direction for Marvel. Gone will be the days of depressing and despair-filled stories (*cough* X-Men *cough*). Instead the focus will be more heroic and upbeat stories. What this means is still anyone's guess but I think we can safely assume that the Iron Age of comics has passed.

I just hope this doesn't mean the return of some of those really awful and corny villains of the 70's.
