Good afternoon/evening/morning all,

On January 9th, 2010 I sall be starting a Pathfinder game at the BCT Georgetown at 3pm.  I currently have three players with charcter concepts in mind.  I'd like to have at least four players and a maximum of six.  If you are interested please e-mail me at Quilliant@gmail.com.  Below you will find a synopsis of the rules for character creation, though the stat rolling I'll have to be present for.

Ability Score Generation
: 4d6 drop the lowest and reroll 1’s.

Starting Hit Points: Constitution Score + Full HD, levels 2-5 Full HD + Con Mod, levels 5-20 Rolled, reroll 1’s.

Skill Rules:  You are allowed one (1) free rank in both a Craft and Profession of your choice at level 1.  Whether you wish to continue you advancing these skills is entirely up to you.  You may only increase these skills through usage. In order to advance the skill up a level you must succeed in a number of skill checks equal to the next rank multiplied by 2.  For example Hathan has two (2) ranks in Craft (weaponsmithing), but he wants to get to level 4.  In order for him to do this he must make six (6) successful skill checks in Craft (weaponsmithing) to get to rank 3, and then must make eight (Cool more skill checks to get to his desired skill rank of 4.  The same rules apply to Profession.  This represents time and devotion spent on advancing these “jobs” much like experience is used to advance your class.

Starting Gold and Items: A flat, 200 gold will be allotted to each character. This can be a family heirloom, unused dowry or perhaps a going away gift.  Three complimentary sets of clothes (total gold worth may not exceed 150 gold), in any combination you want.  You may also choose a weapon of your choice.

Alignment:  Good and Neutral.  Although, I will consider a well crafted character of lawful or neutral evil.
Starting ages: Any age, while the nature of these penalties are there for game mechanics I find that they are too severe.   Feel free to play any age.

Feats:  No restriction on feats.  However some feats may require a trainer, examples of such feats are armor proficiency, weapon proficiency and craft item feats to name a few.  If you are unsure which feats will require training, please ask.  Also with the weapon you have chosen you may gain the proficiency feats for it.

Special Class Exceptions:  At the very beginning of the campaign you’ll just be an ordinary Priest, Scho
lar, Entertainer, soldier, or wilderness explorer.  Sorcerers can take any bloodline they wish with approval, but do see the Alignment restriction.  Wizards may not choose necromancy as their School Focus; however they can still prepare spells from the school and choose it as a prohibited school.

Campaign Notes: This may or may not be a fast paced campaign, events may not happen one after another.  Weeks, months, even years might pass between missions or quests for the characters.  Though most likely not through the beginning levels, but later in the teens would it start temporally to slow down. Characters will age and grow in power; they may acquire political positions, small towers all to themselves, or just continue wandering.

Also there seems to be something wrong with this message board, as I am trying to edit this, every letter I type seems to keep popping my scroll bar to the middle of the post.

Anyway the classs we have in the part so far are Sorcerer, Fighter, and most likely a druid.

Sorry for not emailing you sooner. I would really like to be a part of this, and I did have a concept in mind. When I see you Saturday when we take a small break I will talk to you about it. I was looking at a spell casting class or maybe a rogue type. I'll have the players handbook of my own so that way I will have a bit better idea of whats going on, and more specific details and hopefully a rolled out character for you to look over.

Sadly I haven't had time to post this.  I'm afraid my game is full at the moment.  However feel free to start another group if you want though.  I'm not sure if anything else will open up as far as Pathfinder, but we should certainly promote this game a bit more.  I have six players and as our rules state for the fairness of all, that is as many I can do without making the encounters in Rise of the Runelords ridiculous.  Though, it would appear that after 2:30 or so at the Georgetown BCT there is NO game other than mine going.  Another friend was also interested in getting something going with Pathfinder, so I would advertise that you are also forming a group.  Who knows what might happen.

The Player Characters:

Human (Ulfen) Barbarian
Human (Varisian) Monk
Human (Varisian) Druid
Elf (Tien) Rogue
Half-elf (Varisian) Bard
Gnome (Varisian) Sorceress
